Dr. Charles E. Perry, Jr.

Founder, Senior Pastor & Visionary of Word of Restoration International Church

Dr. Charles E. Perry, Jr., is a native of Houston, Texas. He answered the call of God to preach the gospel in 1984, under the leadership of his father, Charles E. Perry, Sr. God visited Pastor Perry in a season of hopelessness and despair and revealed His plan for his life. God gave him the vision to start Word of Restoration and restore lives with His Word. Since then He has blessed Word of Restoration with 47 acres of land, a 60,000 square-foot campus, and thousands who call this place of worship home. Pastor Perry’s greatest joy is seeing lives restored.

With a life-restoring Word from God and a clear vision, Pastor Perry walked away from a life of devastation and into one of restoration.

Dr. Perry holds a Bachelor of Ministry Degree and a Master’s Degree in Christian Leadership from Union Bible Theological Seminary and Doctorate of Ministry Degree from Christian Bible Institute and Seminary. He is also a Board Certified Christian Counselor. In March of 2015, Dr. Perry became a covenant spiritual son of Bishop Steve Houpe, Foundern and Senior Pastor of Harvest Church International Outreach in Kansas City, Missouri. Bishop Steve Houpe and Dr. Donna Leah Houpe serve as spiritual parents of Dr. Perry, Lady Charlette Perry and the Word of Restoration family.

As a student of The Word, Dr. Perry continues to expand his spiritual knowledge of the Kingdom of God through the mentorship of Apostle, Dr. Dana Carson. As an Apostle, Dr, Perry attended The School of the Apostles, where he was personally trained, equipped, and affirmed as an Apostle during the Apostle’s Affirmation Ceremony on September 22, 2019.

As a gifted teacher to the body of Christ with an apostolic anointing, he has the God-given
ability to simplify and interpret The Word so that it is applicable and relevant to everyday living. Through the “Restoring Lives” television broadcast, both locally and nationally, his ministry of restoration reaches individuals from coast to coast. Dr. Perry stands in the Word found in Isaiah 61:7, and his life epitomizes the statement: “When Your Life is Restored, You Shall Have Double”.

Dr. Perry resides in Sugar Land, Texas, with his wife, Lady Charlette. They have two children, daughter Belinda, & son-in-law Donovan Walker and son, Caleb Perry & daughter-in-law Brandie. They are also the proud grandparents of four granddaughters, Kennedi, Brelyn, Ciara, and Mia.
